Strong, healthy looking teeth will not only improve your smile, but also give you more confidence in your day to day interactions with friends, co-workers, and anyone else you may encounter.

Regular professional care, along with good home care habits such as brushing, flossing, and a healthy diet, will go a long way towards maintaining your oral health. Despite your best efforts, however, dental problems do occur, and proper care early on can help prevent larger problems.

Our dental clinic emphasizes early detection and correction of dental problems and concerns. Creekside Dental offers a range of solutions to dental issues. These include simple procedures such as sealants and tooth colored fillings, as well as more complex, comprehensive treatment such as crowns, veneers, and implant options when indicated.

We are a family dental office, and we take your oral health seriously. We will work with you to help you achieve and maintain a smile that will make you proud.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are dental restorations that will repair and strengthen teeth that have been damaged. The main difference between an inlay and an onlay has to do with how much tooth structure is involved. They are both more conservative than a full coverage crown, and will typically be made of a gold alloy metal or tooth colored ceramic or zirconia. LEARN MORE

Sealants

Dental sealants are composite resin materials used for prevention of dental decay. They protect the more vulnerable areas of a tooth; the biting or chewing surface, from decay. When a sealant is placed, the resin is applied to the deep grooves in the tooth where plaque and decay causing bacteria tend to accumulate. The material is bonded which makes the surface much easier to keep clean and reduces the chances of decay getting started. Sealants are commonly placed in younger children and adolescents, but they can be beneficial at any age. They require minimal treatment to the teeth, are painless to place, and offer tremendous benefit. LEARN MORE

Root Canals

If the nerve and/or blood supply to a tooth becomes infected or damaged, and begins to breakdown, endodontic (root canal) treatment may be necessary. Root canal therapy is a means to eliminate painful conditions while retaining the affected tooth so it can continue to function normally. The procedure removes the affected tissue and cleanses and seals so no further breakdown will occur. Once root canal therapy is complete, a crown or other long term restoration will be placed and the tooth will continue to function normally. LEARN MORE

Tooth Removal (Extractions)

While periodontal and restorative measures serve to strengthen and preserve teeth, there are circumstances where the best or only option is to have a tooth or teeth removed. Some conditions that may require tooth removal include severely damaged or infected teeth that are not repairable, or are otherwise a risk to your health. Teeth may need to be removed to alleviate crowding conditions, or help in orthodontic treatment. Third molars (wisdom teeth) will sometimes need to be removed if there is not enough room in the mouth for them to erupt in a normal position with normal function.  LEARN MORE

Dental x-rays (radiographs) are a vital component to accurate diagnosis and treatment. They serve to find potential problems early, often preventing the need for more extensive and expensive solutions to dental problems. Digital x-rays take high-quality images with up to 90-95% less radiation exposure to the patient. We can also manipulate and enlarge images so they yield more information, and are easier to read.
